2023-2024 School Year
Priority #1 – All Students Learn to Read Well By June 2024, students will demonstrate growth in literacy as evidenced by an increase of 5%, from baseline to endpoint assessments in reading foundational skills and reading comprehension through the use of proven science-of-reading and phonics-based curriculum.
Priority #2 – All Students Are Physically and Emotionally Safe
By June 2024, P352X will continue to implement improved attendance practices to combat chronic absenteeism, and will expand implementation of physical and mental wellness supports, as evidenced by an increase from 99% to 100% positive responses on the NYC School Survey by parents and students in the area of Safety.
Priority #3 – All Students Have a High-Quality Educational Experience
By June 2024, P352X will strengthen core instruction by implementing high quality research based curriculum in ELA and Math and will support students to move to less intensive services and less restrictive educational settings, evidenced by achieving 100% related services compliance for students with disabilities and 10% of students moving to less intensive services and less restrictive educational settings
Priority #4 – All Students Graduate College and Career Ready
By June 2024, P352X will support students in becoming college and career ready through increasing opportunities for work-based learning and increased rigor in all academic subjects, evidenced by a 14% increase, from 71% to 85%, positive responses on the NYC School Survey in the area of Academic Press.
Priority #5 – All Districts and Schools Are More Inclusive and Responsive for Parents and Families
By June 2024, P352X will improve outcomes for all stakeholders related to Collaborative & Trusting Relationships by increasing parent communication and engagement across the school community, as evidenced by a 4% increase from 95% to 99%, in the NYC School Survey responses area of Personal Attention & Support.
